(“Deltron Communications”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, protects and uses the personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) you (“User”, “you” or “your”) may provide in the Teranoid POS and any of its products or services (collectively, “Teranoid Mobile Applications”, “Back-Office Web Portal” or “Services”). This Statement of Privacy applies to the Deltron Systems Pvt. Ltd Website and governs data collection and usage. By using the Deltron Systems Pvt. Ltd website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
Personal Information Collection
Deltron Systems Pvt. Ltd collects any information you knowingly provide to us when you create an account and fill information in the Teranoid POS, other Teranoid mobile applications and Teranoid Back-Office Web Portal. This information includes personally identifiable information, such as your email address, name, home or work address, telephone number or other personal information. You may choose not to provide certain information but then you will not be able to use the features of mobile applications. The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Types of Data Collected
Data that we collect from Teranoid POS and other Teranoid Mobile applications includes Contacts permission, Camera permission, Read Phone State permission, Call Phone permission, Storage permission, and Social media accounts permission. Personal Data may be freely provided by the user but Usage data will be collected by us when the application is being used. All data requested by these applications is mandatory for the functionality of these applications. Non personal Data is also collected for statistical purposes.
1. Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device’s internal memory. Teranoid POS and other Teranoid Mobile applications do not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the apps may use third-party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. Teranoid Back-Office web portal uses Cookies and other tracking tools to identify the web browser, ip address and usage statistics. This information is used by Deltron Systems Pvt. Ltd for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
2. DEVICE PERMISSIONS FOR PERSONAL DATA ACCESS
Teranoid POS and other Teranoid Applications may ask for permissions that allow the applications to access user personal data. These permissions have to be granted before information can be accessed and likewise these permissions can be revoked at any time by the user from device settings. Following are the permissions that may be requested by Teranoid POS and other Teranoid applications.
● Device ID permission
This permission is used for accessing shared external storage, including the reading and adding of any items.
● Camera permission
This permission is used for accessing the camera or capturing images from the device. On Teranoid POS, not allowing this permission will not let user to upload any Product or a Category Image in Catalogs.
● Contacts permission
This permission is used for accessing contacts and profiles on the User’s device. On Teranoid POS, not allowing this permission will not let user have the feature of adding a “Customer” from device address/phone book. The term “Customer” here refers to a person who performs a transaction with the user of Teranoid POS.
● Call Phone permission
This permission is used for accessing a host of typical features associated with telephony. This feature enables the user to perform a call to any clickable/callable phone number in the application.
● Read Phone State permission
This permission is used for accessing the user’s Device ID. This feature allows user to bind the Device to Teranoid POS Application.
● Facebook Permission
Teranoid POS may ask for some Facebook permissions in order to get user personal information such as UserID, Public Profile Information and Email. This information is used for the purpose of quicker onboarding (Login/Signup) of the user on application.
● Google Permission
Teranoid POS may ask for some Google permissions in order to get user personal information such as UserID and Email. This information is used for the purpose of quicker onboarding (Login/Signup) of the user on application.
● Storage permission
This permission is used for accessing shared external storage, including the reading and adding of any items.
3. Non-Personal Data Collection
Whenever Teranoid POS or Teranoid mobile applications are used, data such as device name, operating system version, IP address, Locale are automatically recorded.
Security of your Personal Information
Deltron Systems Pvt. Ltd secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. Deltron Systems Pvt. Ltd secures the personally identifiable information you provide on computer and mobile servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other Web sites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. It is the owners responsibility to take appropriate measures to prevent unauthorized access to computer or mobile devices in order to avoid private information disclosure, data modification and destruction of data.
